Boma Story Night is Story Makers’ signature platform, a modern revival of the fireside tradition that once united families and communities. It transforms storytelling into a vibrant communal experience, blending poetry, music, dance, comedy, and African cuisine in an interactive space where audiences actively engage. Unlike conventional theatre, participants clap, sing, and respond in real time, making each gathering lively and inclusive. Beyond entertainment, Boma Night preserves oral traditions, nurtures emerging artists, and fosters cultural pride. It also promotes mental health and connection, offering a safe space where storytelling becomes a pathway to healing, resilience, and community wellbeing.
