Story Makers believes art is a force for social change. Our Community Theatre & Advocacy program uses storytelling, drama, and performance to confront urgent issues, spark dialogue, and inspire action. Through Theatre for Development, Participatory Educational Theatre, and Magnet Theatre, we create interactive productions rooted in real community experiences. Embracing Artivism, we position poetry, dance, and drama as tools for justice, tackling topics such as gender-based violence, mental health, and human rights. With Edutainment, serious issues are shared in engaging ways. By blending advocacy, healing, and performance, we transform theatre into a space where awareness grows into collective change.
